VIEW THE VENUS TRANSIT PRESENTATION FROM THE MVAS MEETING 4/28/2011

Get your gear ready! On June 5th, from about 6:00pm-9:00pm, we, here in NE Ohio, will be able to see Venus transit the face of the Sun. We will not be able to see the entire transit, but what we will be able to see will be a real treat. The next time this will happen is in 2117, so I don't think any of us will have another chance to see it again!

The above animation shows the position of Venus as we will see it from start to sunset.
