Welcome to the Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society Website.

The MVAS was founded in 1939 by local enthusiasts, to further the hobby of Amateur Astronomy in the Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and adjacent counties in Ohio. We hope you find our Web Presence interesting, and informational. Included on our site is information on Meeting Dates, Our History, Images, and Observing Tools. We welcome new members as well, please feel free to contact us for more information.
